I am not a Phily Eagles fan but the TO apology and Drew Rosenhaus's press conference was really very sad. They tried to get a contract renegotiated after less than one year into it. Well, TO being 34 (I think) may have mouthed himself into the poor house. All the talent in the world can't wash the smell of his selfishness and bad attitude away.

Does anyone feel sorry for him?

What would you do if you will giving TO advise?

Who do you think TO will be playing for next year?

Where all damaged, or soon to be damaged, goods go . . . the Raiders.

I watched that. Did you see him smurking in the background when the other dude was answering questions?

Been a philly fan all my life. We have been putting up with this clown since the super bowl last year. I am sooo glad he is out of here. The guy is not only a cancer on the team, he is also a fool. He is losing about 800,000 this season alone . Not to mention no team in their right mind wanting to pick him up.

He could have been phillys favorite son and made tons of $$ dollars off the Field as well as on. What a selfish dope.

The smirk came on Owens face when channel ten asked rosenhause what he has done for TO beside helping him loose his job.

My first advise to Owens would be to fire Rosenhaus

T.O. should study some video of Isaac Bruce of the Rams and learn how to act like he has some CLASS.

i'm a die-hard birds fan. mixed emotions here. why couldn't he have just issued the apology a few days earlier? he'd still be playing.

i'd still take him back. he's the best wr in the league. i expect my pro teams to win, that's all. but i respect the organization, they handled the whole saga perfectly.

Just desserts, Imho.....I always thought that if you have a contract you get paid to do a job for a certain amount time.....I think that if you need someone to speak for you when you are standing right there, then you should probably keep your mouth shut all the time....They should keep him in Philly though...The fans there are merciless when crossed....JK

He should keep his pie hole shut and go to work, if he can find it. Don't think anyone will want him now. How many teams has he disrupted?

He will end up with the Raiders, I would imagine. He doesn't know how to be a TEAM player or member. If I were management, a coach, or a player, I would not want him on my team.

I dont see how the Raiders can afford him They are always in cap he11 and are paying Porter and Moss a ton already.

My guess is that he will be on one year contracts for the rest of his 'career'.

I personally cant see why anyone would want him. It is a shame he doesnt have half the common sense that he does talent. He really could have had it made in Philly.

He embodies everything that is wrong with pro sports. He has enough money to live his life in comfort provided he didn't do anything stupid with it already..

In my view, a primadonna of this type is actually worse for a team. The benefit doesn't outweigh the negative.

I think he is disgusting and if he says he is putting his faith in God I will simply puke. He should be struck by lightning.

I hoppe hes an untouchable that will hopefully send a message to all the other self righteous windbags out there.

Many teams will want TO and now he can be had for a bargain "cheap" it boils down to common sense on the field the guy is one of the best of all time.

He will be in somebodys lineup on opening day.

Thanks Flahthead
Kinda figured it was a football player. I have heard the name Terrell Owens before but the TO just wasn't connecting with me.
Good article.

Professional sports belongs in the bowl, where the players live... and I'm talking toilet bowl.

Worthless, the whole lot.

Pat Tillman of Arizona comes to my mind. Wouldn't throw him in the whole lot.

The loss of Pat Tillman is a tragedy, but no more of a tragedy than every other serviceman that has died in the line of duty.

That is a good point az. Every soldier who dies over there is a tragedy and deserves our utmost respect.
That is the point he was making. Pat Tillman was never in the "toilet bowl" that 90% of professional sports players are in today.

I personally have never liked T.O. as a person. I think he is a good player. However, a team doesn't win because of one player.
A receiver won't do any good if the QB can't get the ball to him, because the offensive line can't block the pass rush....etc.
He may make a team BETTER, but he does not MAKE a team.

AK Chappy
