I am new to this forum, and find it very informative.
I have been looking through rigging guides and still have questions.
I have a 2006 Yamaha F50TLR that came with a 6Y5-83540-14-00 Pro Series tachometer. I am replacing the tachometer with a Pro Series 6Y5-83540-20-00 tachometer having the oil and temp lights. I am also adding a 6Y5-83670-12-00 Pro Series trim gauge. I purchased a 6Y5-83653-10-00 trim/oil harness.
The gauge end of the harness has one plug with 4 wires: green w/red, green, pink, and a gray.
The tach has a plug with a green wire and a red wire.
The trim gauge has a plug with a pink wire and a black wire.
HOW DO I CONNECT THE TACH AND THE TRIM GAUGE WITH ONLY ONE PLUG ON THE HARNESS ? IF I HAVE TO CUT OFF THE PLUGS, WHICH WIRES CONNECT TOGETHER ?
