Hi everyone, I have a little problem with my tach,it stops at 900rpm when motor is turned off. Does this mean that i hafto get a new tach? seems ok on top side to 5500 to 6000 rpm. Thanks J.C.

Re: Tach problem

That is normal.

That feature keeps the tach needle from sitting on the peg or the bottom of it's travel. It protects the needle and internal workings from vibration damage.

You will notice that if you cycle (not start) the key one more time, some tachs will go to zero.
