Welcome to iboats.

You need a "20 Pole Tach".
They are getting pretty hard to find.
Looks like there are some available now, a few months ago, I couldn't find one.


Might want to jump on one of these, fast.

Teleflex, Faria and a couple other manufacturers make 20 pole tachs.
Contact them with the info that Roscoe gave you.

What kind would you need for a 1992 70hp Force? And how do you wire one?

Regular common 12 pole tach will work on your 70 hp 1992 Force.



From the Faria website: f. Faria no longer makes a 20 pole tach.



And Teleflex only has info on them in the reference library, from what I can find.

I don't believe any company has made a 20 pole tach for a few years now.

Buy what you can find now, as they will be gone soon.
