After seeing many of the posts recently, (and steering clear of them), I thought I would change the subject a little.

I was curious as to what kind of boats some of you guys own. It would be kinda cool to know what sort of watercraft you guys,(and gals...sorry Ladyfish), are operating.

I will start; 1981 16.5' Dynatrak 160SS Fish and Ski by Ebbtide. 115 Johnson V-4. I love this boat. I am able to get around 53 mph with just me in the boat. Old Johnson runs like a dream. The boat is pretty heavy but very stable in the water. All the boat I could ever want.

Now, ain't that better than talkin about politics?
............... sure it is!! :D

Sorry Mod's, maybe this doesn't belong in NTDWB, but I figured it would be nice to change the subject. ;)

Good idea Carp,

I have a 1995 Seaswirl 201LE Cuddy with a 1994 Mercury 135HP.

Nice boat for cruising around the Great South Bay with. :D

Cruises nicely at 30 MPH @ 3800RPM and maxed out, it goes 47MPH @ 5400RPM. :D

Her name is SeaSquirrel, but those librals may be bringing me up on charges of squirrel abuse!

Kenny

Re: Takin a break

carphunter i'm with you dude! politics suck.
http://www.msnusers.com/iboatsboatingforum
1985 bayliner capri 14ft, 50hp evinrude newly rebuilt, 11 3/4x17p prop. will go 35mph with just me and 11gal of gas. just removed the hydrofoil but hav'nt taken it out yet since i removed it, i might get a couple mph better.
i also have a 1980 17ft dixie bass boat with a 79 merc, 90hp 15p ss prop. it will get it, but i dont have a working speedo on it, i would guess that it will do 45mph, and you better be sittin when the hammer goes down on it! i like the bayliner the most, and i am thinking of selling the dixie because i never use it anymore.

Re: Takin a break

Say what fellows, could ya run that by me again :D just in case anybody missed it the first time. ( easy now I'm only jerkin your chain) Hey I understand that trying to post pics can be a real pain but heres an idea that may help. If it dont post the first time you can use the edit function and try again in the same spot until ya get it. Saves repeated posts and makes for a cleaner thread. p.s. I'm only trying to be helpful!
