My baby is an '81 Skeeter SS1 (16.5') with a Johnnyrude 88SPL (1988 or '89 I believe). Runs great and will hold a lot of deer, er, uh, I mean bass! Well, whatever the season is ...

Mellowyellow.. It's a straight inboard (no outdrive).. Hooked up to a 302/5.0 efi ford and Borg/warner trans that runs a straight shaft, prop, and rudder thru a "tunnel"...

That ain't no flats boat there.. Needs at least 2 1/2 feet just ta float.. It's a full on offshore fishing machine... :D

WELLLLLLLLLLL.....since I got in on the tail end of the excitement (whatever that was) AND....since we is talkin' boats.....

Bought my first in 72'. 16' StarCraft Super Sport wiht a 65' (I think) 40HP Rude. Boat was brand new. That boat made numerous trips to the Canadian North lookin' for Walleyes and Pike. Sold it twice (which is a different story). Had a 105 Chrysler on it and a 50hp Johnny....at different times of course. It's still going strong as I know the current owner.

Also had an 18' fiberglass, heavier than the Titanic MFG trihull. Smooth riding boat. Had different engines on it. Also did a couple trips north with this boat.

My current boat, also a 16' StarCraft Super Sport, (can't help it, just love the hull) has a 90 Rude on it and scares me from time to time.

Also got a toon. 18' Bass Buggy from Tracker. This was she herself's idea. Wanted more room for the rug rats. It's got the 50hp Johnny on it that was on the 16' StarCraft. All in all....if she wants fast...I give her fast...if she wants slow and comfy...I give her slow and comfy. I like'm both.

Now if we only had some decent Summer......

kenny, it didnt work.
go to the pic, right click, go to properties, highlight everything in front of and include the jpg?, then copy it, then come to the bottom of the post and click the image, erase the http//, and paste the pic in that place. you can then preview the post and should see the image in it.

sbn, helped me out on that! :D
