I have a tandem axle trailer with brakes on one axle. According to New Jersey law, I should have brakes on all axles.
The trailer has a Tie Down system, believe it's the model 60 and the local trailer shop has said that NJ isn't enforcing that law yet on boat trailers. Anyways, I'm looking in to adding the second set because it will be better if I head in to the hills.
I remember reading posts about having to ensure the master cylinder can support 4 calipers but I can't figure out if my system can support adding a second set of calipers.
The trailer shop did say I could add a second set but didn't mention anything about cylinder size.
