Tee Nee Trailers

Hello All, I am new to this site and oh yes seeking some advice. Some of this probably has been gone over in the past, but I would appreciate any information those of you have. Last year I purchased a 50's - 60's homemade 14' "paddleduck" boat. With it came a I am assuming mid 60's Tee Nee Trailer, model 1200. Right now I am not looking to restore the trailer to exact replica - but I am looking for parts to begin the process. The trailer has 5 bottom rollers in a piece of channel on each side which are 3" wide and only 2 1/2 " diameter. I have not been able to find anyone that makes this size, right now I am considering switching to a carpeted piece of wood. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks people - have a great day. Wells

Not sure I've been here long enough to offer a welcome but I will anyway! Amazing site with some very knowledgeable folks that share their experience for free! How great is that?
All that said, we need some PICS! And I won't be the only one asking for them so you might as well figure out how to post them (very simple, actually). Like the old saying, a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Tee Nee trailers have been gone for over 20 years, the chances of finding exact replacement parts is slim to none.
Your options would be either to go with roller bunk assemblies or convert to carpeted bunks.
They also built trailers over a long period of time, without a pic, we have no idea which style trailer you have.
They built everything from mono beam style trailers with center rollers to more modern twin bunk trailers.


Maybe something like this:

Thankyou blackhawk180 and loose rivet, the picture advice is great - totally escaped my mind. It will probably be a few days before I can get a picture, but I will do that. I will more than likely switch to a carpeted bunk for the time being, and new center rollers. I am on a couple fishing sites, and was hoping this site would be as down to earth and helpful - from what you guys are telling me - it sounds just that way. Hi Folks,
I just purchased my first Tee Nee trailer, model A 104244 last week.
It has the same type of rollers in a channel that Wellsontario mentions.
I'm planning to replace these anyway, as I'm using the trailer for a cedarstrip runabout, and think that bunks will provide better support.
The channels will unbolt, so replacement with a carpeted plank won't do any permanent modification to the trailer.
Trailer came with 8" wheels, but looks like it should have 12" wheels at least. Anyone know what they came with originally?
Mine also has a "tilt" feature, is this common to all Tee Nee's?
Presently a hand brushed light blue, but original yellow underneath. Were all Tee Nee's yellow?
Fenders are good and solid, even have the little step pads intact.
All bolts (so far) are coming free, looks promising !

Agree that a picture is worth a thousand words,......will have to work on that.
