Teleflex steering upgrade frustration

Just last week ordered Teleflex NFB SH5150 helm unit to replace my old Teleflex SH5094.
I just downloaded the installation manual and to my disappointment my old unit
feeds the cable to lower hole and the new NFB to the upper.

What is my chance that I can bend the cable to offset it and get it working
It looks pretty stiff :(

Hmmm, didn't think of that, but they don't make any other style.
All the new NFB units have the cable attached on top.

Perhaps the NFB gearing is different and it will still turn the same way ?

Ayuh,....

Why would you change Just the Helm,..??..??

It's the Cable that usually goes Bad,....
And,....
The price of Just a Helm, or Just the cable is Danm near the Same price as a Complete Helm,+ Cable.....

This is official reply I got from Teleflex:

On the SH5150 you can put the cable into the top or bottom spigot, you can either the bottom spigot would hold the cable in with the 2 bolts instead of the
