Boat = 1985 Harris Flotebote 24' Heritage Pontoon
Motor = 1988 Johnson 88SPL (90 hp)

We replaced the steering system last year with a teleflex, but can't recall right this minute if it was just the safe-t or the nfb. I think it was just the basic one. Would be interested to know more about this other system.

Just completed an overhaul on a 1987 Lowes Fish & Fun 20' Pontoon. Very stiff steering.
Powered by a 1987 Force, 125 HP; 1253X7B
Bought as a derilect 7 months ago & took it out last weekend.

I have a 2008 StarCraft Limited 206 RE CR. It only has a 60hp Bigfoot but the steering is extremely stiff and I would definitely be interested.

I have a 2003 SIDE console 1860 G3 jon w a 03 F90 and my steering has a fair amount of unwanted slop in the original unit and is hard to turn. I would love to test the new systems performance w my heavy motor. I know I don't have a CC but all of my steering cable is above deck and pretty short from helm to motor. I also want to change my boat to a CC so I can stand and see the shallows better and move weight forward in my fat butt boat! If that makes a difference!......Please Pick me:facepalm:
