Dang it, I had an old set just chucked them spring cleaning new ones it. i got a key ring gaper.

Really guys thanks for all the help and time, keep touch and I'll give y'all an update when the part comes in and I got it on. I'm sure I'll find a new problem I lie to tinker to much. Next project get new gauges in.....

I was just looking at my meter it don't go that high 600 is the max and I haven't seen my fluke in about a year kids need it for a project at school. Can I still make one to work?

Yes, maximum voltage you'll be looking for is about 400...

Hello guys sorry to take so long but have been through a lot lot lately.
Anyways with my dad supervising I got the new sensor on. Still beeping but its not as sudden as before. So maybe it's the magnet.

Now does the north side of the magnet face the motor?
Heck I just thought about it I'm going to need a new gasket if I pull the pump off right?

Did you check the voltage outputs of the new sensor, as you did on the old one?

The pump is sealed with an 'O' ring, not a gasket.... Sweet...

Have you downloaded THIS service manual? It's not directly for your engine, but the section on the oil injection system is very thorough and accurate for your engine, especially the troubleshooting section. (Password for the file is <<ribforum>>)

I think I did down load that but I will check to be sure, No I didnt thing to check the sensor on the meter. I could tell if it had a seal or a gasket by the diagram I got. and the north side farces which way?

Just had another thought.. If the magnet has lost some of it's strength, then that could account for the lower sensor output readings...

I had that happen on a cruise control system on my car. The system was erratic and I couldn't figure it out. It got better, but not completely right, when I moved the pickup closer to the magnet (on the tailshaft). I replaced the magnet with a new one and it's been the best ever since then.

Part number for a new coupler (with a new magnet in it) is 23-41429A2. (only about $18)

It came with the sensor. And I didn't even think to ask about
so much was going on at the time.

It happens to all of us. I just got a 4-5" Starett Calibrated Micrometer at 1200.00 each.. Yeah, I thought I ordered a 3-4". Now I have to wait another 2 weeks and try to get a refund. It suxs.

Ok got it in took a whole 5 minutes. Still got beeping.
So I started all over from step one. Tested the pump to be sure its pumping. ok there.

Everything is coming back fine so the only thing left is the modual.

After doing all the test, I checked the remote tank. I found 1/4 inch gap at the tank connection. I'm sure it was sucking air. I zip tied it closed I can use the other cap to fill it. I didn't crank it to check it had to run will do it tomorrow. Gotta get dad to therapy.
