temp gauge

My omc 5.7 doesnt seem to have a plug in the engine to hook up the dash gauge. Is this where i could attach one in the manifold? I believe it is a 78 chevy 350

yea.. that's where you want it.. and where most are, but could be on the port cylinder head or on the thermostat housing itself.

Need a bigger picture. If that is a water passage yes. Can't tell if that is the exhaust crossover under the carb.

Yep, thats were you want it. You can see the 2 and 4 on the intake and the plug is in front of that.
