Hi guys... Gals? I read and old post that talked about using a jumper wire off the starter solenoid and hook it to the green wire coming from the lower unit, should give me neutral. Then apply wire to both green and blue wires together should give me reverse. It works, Am I correct in saying that my lower solenoid is good? Prop spins in neutral but it's not in gear (safely used a piece of SM blue Styrofoam to stop the prop). I'm thinking somethings wrong with the shifter control box? Any help would be appreciated.
