Testing johnson/ evinrude coil question

i have attached picture
motor is 1957 18 hp model fd-11

I am wonder , how to test coil with continuity meter.
Dose any have answer?
i checked new manual, let me with more questions.

My coils are in good shape , structure wise.

Connect between the two wires. Should be about an ohm.

Connect between the ground wire and the pin that pierces the spark plug wire. Should be several K-ohms.
