Thanks to everyone who assisted me in getting our new laptop. I know that I don't know enough about the brands and the processors to have made an educated decision. Well the new Dell Latitude D600 is exactly what the doctor ordered. The wife loves it and so do I.<br /><br />Thanks again for all the input and suggestions.

Unless you are doing targeted, application specific stuff, I don’t think there is a “wrong” computer. Anything you get will have you happy and drooling all over it.<br />

18R<br /><br />Downloading all that porn takes a solid unit!!!!<br /><br />So to speak.......<br /><br />Actually one of the features that we like the most is the battery life on this rig. We do alot of traveling and one of us are typically working in the car while en-route. This thing is solid for about 5hrs. The Toshiba was very weak.

Know what you mean Pointer<br />Went through all that last month for Mrs.Links Laptop.<br />Its hard to put a value on good advice.
