I purchased my first boat about 4 mouths ago its a 1985 Ray Craft bass boat I got it for 300 bucks. It looked like sh*t and didnt run, the gel-coat was badly oxidized, and the motor was locked up. Before I purchased it I did a lot of research mostly in Iboats forums just to see what I would be getting in to. Im pretty mechanically inclined so I decided to go for it but all I knew about bouts was that they float. After buying a manual, reading the forums A LOT, and asking a lot of questions my boat Runs and Looks Good hell I know more about boats then all my friends do and they been around them all their lives. THANKS TO All

Special Thanks To: Rodbolt answered most my mechanical questions.
Mark42 your Restoring Gloss to Old Gel Coat article is the sh*t (that means kick ***, better than good)
