got no place to go and my fiancee in venezuela types slow so I stay around, made the mistake of going back to dock side chat so I will get flamed a bit more. but overall I am glad I could help anyone in some small way. <br /> makes me feel good and helps keep my skills sharp so thanks right back to ya :) .

I purchased my first boat about 4 mouths ago it’s a 1985 Ray Craft bass boat I got it for 300 bucks. It looked like sh*t and didn’t run, the gel-coat was badly oxidized, and the motor was locked up. Before I purchased it I did a lot of research mostly in Iboats forums just to see what I would be getting in to. I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I decided to go for it but all I knew about bouts was that they float. After buying a manual, reading the forums A LOT, and asking a lot of questions my boat Runs and Looks Good :D hell I know more about boats then all my friends do and they been around them all their lives. THANKS TO All <br /><br /> Special Thanks To: Rodbolt answered most my mechanical questions.<br />Mark42 your Restoring Gloss to Old Gel Coat article is the sh*t (that means kick ***, better than good)

JB, <br />ROCKHOPPER gave me some good trouble shooting tips, and my problem did turn out to be a bad sparkplug at high RPM, along with some bad gas I picked up some were.<br />Thanks for the help,

JB<br />YOU have helped me with-Trouble shooting and advice : with my Evinzuki 70:<br />- in-line Fuel filter <br />- telltale / water pump / impeller <br />- general maintainence <br />- oil filter change advice <br /><br />All of your advice has helped my motor run better!<br />thanks!
