i would like to thank all who have helped me on my merc engine. you have been a great bunch to listen to with some of the tecno questions. it runs fine now. just one ? how long will a 18 gal. tank last a wot. it is a 1970 115 hp tower of power.

Not long at all... The rule of thumb is divide the horse power by 10 to find the gallns per hour. In your case that will be approx. 11 gals/hr. Obviously the weight of the boat and grag all play a part, but if you have the correct pitch to give you the recommended wot rpms the above formula will be close.
