Re: That's my pres!

Pat you are almost right.
The presidency is more important than the president.

He is not the head of the party he is the spokesperson for the United States. What and how he does things project the will of the American people. Some presidents choose to work with terrorists on the phone while keeping an intern "under the desk" and lie in court to cover it up. One of this presidents' mandates includes returning honor and courage to the presidency. Love him or hate him he exudes an American position of committment and moral conviction. There is a place in this country for morals and they can be defined.

A man who understands that his policies are more important than his personal safety, is the kind of man that has the moral authority to lead.

I do not like all of his policies, but I admire him as a man. Its about time!!!

Doug

Re: That's my pres!

A HUGE THANK YOU to mat25 and boatingfool--my responce is in no way derogitory to Mr Bush--I point out that as Prez. he does not act alone--

ya know, I voted Bush in last prezy election, so did my lovely boss (Bride)--not for the name or ideology--read party--but what the candidate spoke of and claimed to profess--

--am in line with results so far--BUT--i do not support NAFTA and the latest trade giveaway on the bargain block--
--anyone here know what jobs lost to NAFTA were supposed to be replaced by??--ie--the premice of what potential NAFTA offered????????

-I am way off topic here--and avoid political stuff due to the "fighting" that results--but--

sure do respect and support Mr. Bush and his Administration for the support of our Global Military Folks.--'nuf said--
