1953 Martin 7.5,, was my Dads motor and hadn't been to the water in 25 years. I went through everything - with the parts from Russ Larson and boy do these things run smooth. A very user friendly, nice running old motor!!! Dad has been gone for 12 years now and I am sure he would have been proud to see it run again. Now it is my job to show the fun of old boats and motors to my Grandsons. I think they may be hooked. PS, The boat was my Dads also. We fished alot together in it.. and Lots of memories.

Thanks for the complement.. I just thought some good news was in order.. lots of motors not running on this site - had to add one that actually does what it is supposed to do.. I stopped to get gas in the truck, on the way to the lake, and two different people came over and wanted to know about the motor.. one guy said they sold one years ago at auction after his Dad passed away. He was happy to see this one which made my day.

Another of my Dads favorites was this 1953 Scott Atwater. It gets its turn at the lake next. Always faithful and never failed us during the Visits to MN starting in the 70's, and over a 15 year period. It was the one we depended on the most.
