Hey fellows..I was thinking of going out to Mojave the first or second week of October, as I will be in Laughlin that weekend. Do you guys think the weather will stll be permitting swimming and laying out in the sun? or just hanging around the casinos? I normally don't swim in October anymore cuz I know it starts cooling down. What do you guys think?

we did real well till the first of december last year at mead. but keep in mind we are used to higher elevation lakes so it was like summer for us.
after that the water temp dropped to less than 65* and we gave up.
oct should be perfect.
we were at havasu on thanksgiving last year and we were wading there at the beach and having a good time and the folks there thought we were nuts.

where are you guys from? you talk about powell, and coming from higher elevations. utah maybe?

we summer at flaming gorge on the utah end.

just talked to person today and might have a line on a slip at hall crossing this winter instead of coming to mead

wow, that seems like a great price for a home on the water. My boss used to go from vegas to flaming gorge, he says its worth it and i have to do it at least once.
