I give. Where are we headed with this? Looks like it is designed to push things around. I know of couple of thousand HP river boats with pushing attachments on the bow and sophisticated steering-propulsion systems that allow them to navigate sideways, like in digging a barge out of a large mooring, that push 1000's of tons of barges up and down major rivers.

Okaye..... What does the NP have that requires pushing around like a tug pushing barges? Just asking!

At Isle Royale NP they have a whole fleet of work Boats and some Barges, something like that one would probably be used for dock maintenance . They also have larger Tugs and Barges for transporting fuel, equipment, materials etc across the Lake.

Okaye, would surely work in Alaska where you have folks living in remote areas and needing supplies, maybe a barge full of supplies.
