Looks real good Bob, I like your idea of the square frame inside the sheet.

Nice work Bob! Looking really sharp... or should I say smooth?!! :)

Really interested to see how this all attaches to the existing transom and what interior knee bracing you come up with!!

I did a rough fit to the boat today. I havent done much work lately, and I might do less foir the rest of the summer, because I am looking for a house to buy....hectic for sure...

here are a few pictures....I even got most of the warp out of the transom sheet!!!

lots of work there

it is a good thiung I sealed the outboard bracket....because i would have hated to depend on my caulking-sealing of the nbracket to the hull as my only means of waterproofing this attachment.

now i only have to worry about sealing the bolt holes...much easier.

i might not realize much bouyance on the outer edges, but if i load the stern some days, it might help out.

and the fit to the transom....decent enough...

next up is removing the bracket and flipping the boat for paint...

I think Ill at least get that done... then i can flip her up right on the trailer and it can sit like that on the easily moveable trailer until i get settled into a new place.

my biggest headache now if fashioning gunnels with a nice 90 bend and radius...since i cant find a guy with a 20 ft brake...Ill have to weld 8 footers together......but i am getting better with the welder now
