Salt Water Sportsman

Lots of dreaming stuff: BW, Bertram, Mako, Yellowfin, SeaVee, etc. Be warned that a lot of them are in the 30ft range, with a few under 20' and some over 50'...

(to JB: the BW 13 Sport is in the list along with the 16 Nauset/Sakonnet!)

The Sakonnet is on my list; mainly because that's the most versatile boat I've ever owned, or even been on. Missed mine as soon as I sold it. One day I'll have another one.

Missed this one:

FTA: #49: Striker 44

The Striker 44 was introduced in 1968 and is notable if for no other reason than it was the world’s first all-aluminum production sportfishing boat.

I'm glad to see they got Rybovich on the list.

This list is biased. I mean, who actually fishes in salt water?! That stuff makes the crappie taste funny. ;-)

Well, I think the Sakonnet 16 (see avatar) and the 13s belong in that list, particularly if you are ranking boats under 20'. On the other hand I think my Montauk 17 was a little bit better, just not as elegant.

I agree that the list is biased in favor of fishing boats. That must be because it is a ranking of fishing boats.
