Thermostat Cover Cracked .... Please Help

I was installing new Thermostats on my '94 200 Vindicator this evening, and I over torqued one of the screws and cracked off the top left corner. It isn't broken past the screw, but the screw is only holding on by a small piece of the cover. It seems to be getting a good seal, but should I replace it anyway? The piece that broke off was only about a 1/4 of an inch on the top left corner.

I've had this happen before. I put a large washer on the bolt to get more overlap on the cover.
