Thread Sealer?

Was just curious what thread sealer (if any) should I use for re-installing my block and manifold drain plugs?

If they were left out all winter then U might need a thread chaser to clean up the rust formed over the winter.
No sealer is needed.J

I know nothing of Volvo's, but Mercruiser recommends perfect seal. A good substitute for PS is Permatex (NAPA) Aviation Sealant.

Ayuh,... No sealant needed on Brass or plastic drain plugs...

I have the brass plugs...so no sealer.
