throttle adjustment

There is a sticky post on top of this forum describing synch and link. But the requirement is that the throttle(s) should be in full horizontal when the control lever is in full forward position.

Ok so with that said your saying that I can adjust the linkage all,the way as long as both carbs sync together??

NO! carbs and timing must be synchronized to get best performance. This requires several steps taken in respective order. Watch the two videos at the top of the page and set the engine correctly.

There is a stop on the timing tower that limits both timing and carb opening at full throttle so you MUST set everything correctly or the engine simply will not perform correctly.
