throttle body or direct inject???

in my other post you will see i have been working on the Q-jet on our boat. all i realy want to do is replace the gaskets and make sure all the setting are right.
any how when i went to NAPA this morning to order the plug seal kit the young fellow behind the counter asked me if i ment the throttle body or direct injection style as he wasnt sure which a Q-jet was.

hope you get as big a kick out of this as i did.

That is a good one.....I bet he was well versed in fart can mufflers and illuminated windshield washer nozzels though!

1 had to get 1 spark plug for my GFs beetle... i tried calling all the local places before I hit the dealer (expensive plug)
Every damm 1 of them asked me if it was a 2.5 gas or 2.5 desiel

well if he isnt he soon will be
he caught me off gaurd and i had to think for a second what he was even talking about
i guess this is the same as asking for antifreeze and radiators for vee dubs back in the day??
