Re: throttle box disconnect
If your shift/throttle cables attach to your motor like mine did, be careful not to turn the black plastic circular trunnion nuts near the ends of the cables when removing the cables. If you do you will have to adjust them when you re-install. It's a simple procedure to adjust them but you should be able to remove the cables without disturbing the trunnion nuts.
My motor would not shift correctly after I re-installed everything because I apparently turned the nuts without even realizing what I was doing. I didn't understand their proper function

() till later when I tried to find out why my motor wasn't shifting. It's really not a big deal and don't let it discourage you from trying to move everything.
