When given more than 50% of throttle, my mercury 500's throttle lever seems to drop constantly, and boat slows down. Otherwise, when i hold the throttle lever pressed on a certain point, the boat (16 footer) is planing, and otherwise going fine. Could it be something with the lever tightening, or is it something more seriously?
