I have a 73 slickcraft with a 165 mercruiser I6 and a pre alpha drive. My question is my throttle seems to be out of adjustment as I have to move the lever to at least the 10 oclock position before the engine reacts and it seems that it goes to the 7 oclock for full travel ,is this normal? I tried adjusting the barrel at the carb but that just raised the idle HELP. Thanx
