I own a 1995 Cruisers Yachts 3175 Rogue powered by twin Merc carbed 5.7 engines mated to Alpha drives.
Here is the issue. At some point in the boats life the Throttle control box at the helm was replaced with a different Mercruiser brand box. What they didnt do was rig the controls right. When I go to WOT the port side control hits a piece of the helm and does not allow it to travel all the way to WOT, leaving the Port engine at 3800 rpms. The starboard side goes all the way forward, past the port side and hits 4400 rpms. With both engines at 3300 rpms there is a gap of about 1 inch in the throttles to keep them synced.
So, I need to rig the throttles to be equal the whole way through the travel of them. And somehow get the port to be at WOT when it hits the helm, along with bringing the starboard side to WOT earlier in the range of motion. Anyone have any clue as to how to fix this? I have searched and cannot find my answer. Thanks in advance!

Ayuh,.... I think ya need to find a set of throttles that Don't Hit the helm,....
There may be additional holes in the throttles that allow a longer, or shorter throw, donno what ya got,...
Pull the controller Out, 'n look,...

Well I could do that, but getting under the throttle box is not going to be a walk in the park. I would have to do it from the inside of the cuddy portion of the boat. I was hoping I could adjust them at the carbs without having to somehow get the throttle box out....
