I have a 1998 Yamaha 130 with Yamaha controls.
My problem is, the throttle won't stay where you
put it. If you let go of the throttle, it starts
easeing off the gas, and this means that you have
to hold it all the time you are under way.
Is there any way to adjust the throttle so it will stay put.
thanks
riverat

Re: throttle won't stay put

No problem RIVERRAT.If you have a side mount 703 control box there is a screw slot on the back side of your control box. Turn the screw to the right to add tension. If it is a 704 flush mount
box you must remove the plastic cover, there
is the same slottre screw on the backside of the box to tighten to the right
