The vessel in question is a 1978 Sylvan SeaMaster in the 16ft variety. The vessel came from the factory with a livewell(doubling as helm seat mount). The livewell drain was through a 1 7/8" hole the numb nut at the sylvan factory drilled a quarter of the way through a body line. When I bought the vessel the P.O. had thrown out the factory livewell claiming it was "too scuzzy for any hope of life after determined death." Putting another livewell in is proving to be a challenge for space constraints, load management, overall cost, and my not really needing a livewell. As such I have elected to not re-establish a live well, but am now left with two holes in my hull. The 1 7/8" drain hole sitting directly at water line, and the 3/4" hole for the livewell pump below water line. The 3/4" hole is not of concern as sealing such hole has been taken care of via backfilling the through hull fitting with 5200, then capping the fitting utilizing the threads for the clamping nut. This is the plan for the drain hole as well, but finding a through hull fitting in this size has proven akin to the likes of hens teeth. The old fitting(cannot be reused) thread OD is 1 3/4", the OD of the flange is 3" and ID of the fitting is 1 3/8". Brand name, model ID is non existent other than an indentation of CANADA. Any help on sourcing(or any info for) a fitting in this size would be thoroughly appreciated.
P.S. The hose barb diameter is of no consequence as it will be cut back to threads to be capped any ways, I cannot say what the original hose barb size was as the P>O> cut it off when removing the old livewell.
