I'm just about finishing up all my additional floor supports before i permenantly replace my floor. I really would like to install a drain through my stringers while i still have access. I would drill, then glue a small pvc pipe at the lowest point of each stringer, ultimately running off into the bilge. This way water cannot get trapped on the outsider side of the stringers. Ideally water shouldnt be able to get on outersides of the stringers, but if it did it would be trapped... is there any reason i should not do this?

Ayuh,... Limberholes,... Ya gotta have 'em...

Seal them up whatever way you'd like....

Well drained hulls don't rot...
