I have searched for answers but not sure were exactly were my answer is.
I have a 2009 VP 5.7GI with DPS-A. While in gear the throttle controls are very stiff and to the point of having irregular speeds when towing and controlling speeds through tight turns.
In throttle mode the level feels smooth throughout the range but when drive is engaged it feels A LOT more stiff and much harder to push/pull the throttle handle through the range.
The friction screw doesn't seem the correct answer since in throttle only mode it feels more smooth. Only other option I'm reading is replace the shift cable.
Before going that route is there any other option to try. Any more adjustment points to try? Any place to lubricate to free up some friction points?
