Tilt Shaft stuck.

new to boat.
took the boat out and the stern drive dont come back up.
1978 OMC 235 5.7L with OMC 235 stern drive.
i took the tilt motor out and the hammer couple and the tilt shaft teeth was broken off the shaft. took off the cover for the clutch area and there was mixture of water and brown oil (dont look like a good).
only thing left is the tilt shaft, wormgear, and clutch gear (the brass)
i can't take out the clutch gear. i took off the c-clip or o ring from the back side.

do anyone know how can i remove the clutch gear, broken tilt shaft, wormgear?

please need help....

Remove the three bolts holding the wormgear plug in place and then lift up on drive by hand-it will push worm gear and plug out of bore.

i don't remember seeing 3 bolt holding the worm gear plug.
the back end is a cirlce plate with a C-clip holding.
i took the c-clip off and try to push the shaft out from the inside.
the shaft don't slide out.
i can't remove the clutch gear (big brass one)
do i have to remove the clutch gear first then the tilt shaft and worm gear will slide out from the back end?
