Tilt & trim 115 HP wiring

Hi to all!<br />I just buy an used power trim with two wire for my mercury 115 HP, when I take off the original I notice that has three wire, can I use this with two wire? if yes can anyone tell me how to combine the wires, my motor have two selenoid system.<br />Thank in advanced! <br />Felix

you will have to change the solenoids to relays and do a little bit of wiring. I believe Merc makes a relay assy with wiring that was for the first 4 stroke mercs that should help you out. part # 882751a3. Not the recommended way for sure but since you have already bought the trim unit it will work.
