Tilt/trim didn't go up - then did?

Morning Gents' (model 856X4L)

while out trolling yesterday morning, my trim stopped working. no motor sound, but it made sound trying to go down (it was all the way down anyway) then it started working when heading back to the dock & worked fine the rest of the day.

shorted wire/ bad connection/ fuse (don't think their is one) ?????

I had the same problem w/ my '98 Force. Switched the relays located under the motor cowl and it would then go up but not down. Bought new relay and problem fixed.

There is also a circuit breaker...should automatically reset itself once it cools off.
