tilt / trim fuse and switch

I have a mid 70s chrysler 115 outboard. There's just green wire, blue wire, hot and ground. I think I should put in-line fuse at hot. If so what, amperage?

2nd question: Also needs new dash switch. what should the switch be rated at for amperage again?

Yes put a 20 amp fuse on the hot
You should be using relays so switch rating can be less then 20 amps, but heavier is always better in these cases

They are pretty standard these days, but look at the ones you have and see if they match these

This is how they are arranged, you will not use 87a pin and many don't have it there. pins 85 to 86 energizes the relay and 30 to 87 supplies power to the trim motor

If I recall right on my old 120 HP Chrysler there was no relays in the tilt/trim system.
