Well, my drawing is wrong, and I removed it. Looks like I picked the wrong diagram to copy.

If you jumpered the two wires going to the motor, then you need a new trim motor.

alrighty, can i use a universal 2 wire setup. or do i need to go with oem part?

You need the right part, it has to hook up to the pump and reservoir assembly. Of course, at this point you don't know if the pump is locked up or the motor. Time to do some dissassembly work and inspection.

Awesome!! I like disassembling stuff!! It's the putting back together that worries me!!

Ok guys! I got a new motor and pump assembly. What kind of fluid is used in boat hydraulic systems and do I bleed it when I hook the new one up. If so, how do I do that?
