Looking at the manual, I beleive I have an EST ignition b/c it has no points, and does not have the CDI/ECM box thing. (I know it is not a pertronix kit). Anyway, the manual timing should be at 1 btdc, and only 23 @ 4800 rpm? The engine came out of a 1993 3.0.

Is this right? I am finishing the installation this morning, so I have not had it running long enouph to see where it is at right now. I need clean th carb and other misc stuff before she is ready for a fine tuning.

That is what the OEM manual says.
