does eney one have a picture of how the timing marks go on a 1967 mer.500/50hp that they can email to me thanks jason.this will be on the dist.and the crank belt drive.email at lt210@earthlink.net

My manual says that there are no timing marks on your flywheel, that a dial indicator must be used.<br /><br />Timing is very sensative on these motors, they will burn up with just being a few degrees out. I would just take it to a good mechanic and pay the $30 and have them set the timing for me. They have all the tools and experience to do it. You could not even buy the dial indicator for that.
