timing

I replaced my timer base and now have spark on all coils. But still dont have full power to get up on plane. Is it the timing now? And can someone tell me how to set the timing? My motor is a 1981 90hp evinride.

At the top of this forum, there's a file called "Top Secret". Go in there and it explains how to set WOT timing without having to start the motor. Really cool, and it works!

When it's running, is it hitting on all 4 cyls? Did you do a cyl drop test??
