Tiny hole in gear case.

Is water supposed to come out of that tiny hole in the bottom front of the gear case? I never noticed it on my other boats...

that's probably because your other boats had that passageway blocked with sand and mud.It is a drain passageway .

Thanks Bt. Your probably right about other boats. I'm winterizing it today and it's sunny and 60 degrees. Thinking about one last ride, but wife talked me out of it saying this might be your last nice day to get the work done.

It is there so that the drive can drain all the water out.

Here's another question...Should water be coming out of it while ear muffs are on and engine is running?
