Kalian, my take on tips is, it is a personal thing. You are going to an establishment and paying them for the service. If the service is above and beyond what you expect, give them a tip accordingly. If it is equal to, or slightly less than what you expect, do not tip them. And if the service is dismal and caused you not to enjoy the service (bad hair cut, you got your ear cut off, very unfriendly service, etc, then give them a penny, so they KNOW you are unhappy). Just my take, anyway.

This has turned into a thread about who has hair and who does not.<br /><br />Well, I'll tell ya. I've got a full head (excluding the the Monkey Butt) of hair. The wife (love of my life) giggles every time she goes over that part. (I'd pay a million $$ to hear that giggle).<br /><br />Since I'm 6'3" not many see the MB.

For us women who have to pay $75 for a good haircut, the tip is usually $15-$20.<br /><br />Since my hair is long I don't have to have it cut as often but its really expensive for us gals. If you want highlights and a cut/style it can be $200+.<br /><br />Y'all are getting off cheap.

OMG, Ladyfish! I must be one cheap .... The day my wife would pay $200 to have her hair done! I cringe at $100 for highlights, cut/style! I guess that is why when my wife askes how I want her to get her hair done my response is, "It is your hair, do what you want. I really don't want to know!"

OK I have to ask, what exactly is the "Monkey Butt" in/on your hair. I've never heard that one before.

It's the spot on top of the head that is well----thinning!
