Tires: Keep an eye on inner side of right hand tires

the dry rotted tire I had blow out was about 5 years old, had another one roll the tread right off it it, but it never lost air! Got to keep an eye out for weather cracks, I don't trust any at all

The 40+yr old rule of not swapping sides has in some cases kicked tot he curb. It is best check with the tire manufacturer to get its recommendation. Of course you could always dismount the tire and flip it around on the wheel, then put it on the other side of the trailer. That way it would still rotate the same direction. Most trailer tires are blackwall on both sides

Radial trailer tires have stiffer sidewalls than auto tires and with 50 psi in them usually don't get as paunchy as the auto tires
