To buy or not to buy?

I recently got exposed to bass fishing, and I loved it. I have been shopping for a boat and wow are they expensive. I have settled in on a 1997 Hydra Sport 20', with a Johnson 200, it is rigged nicely with 2 fish finders (not the fancy gps models unfortunately), 2 year old trolling motor, on board triple charger, live wells and the other basics. The motor tested good at 90 to 93 PSI for all 6 cyl. so I feel good about the boat.
Does $8000 sound like an OK price for this boat

My wife wants me to look for a fish n ski, but they seem few and far between and the ones that are for sale seem very pricey.

Advice?????

Boat pricing varies by region. You may have a decent deal or an overpriced boat. Let everyone know where you are and you stand a better chance of getting worthwhile input and comments.
