To take algae off

Is there anyone that has a home mixture that will take algae of a pontoon? Thank you in advance for your comments.

Aluminum is pretty fussy metal. It doesn't like a lot of harsh chemicals. If the algae is still wet a pressure would be the best route to go. If not then a hose and a good scrub brush would be my way of thinking. I don't think a bleach solution will do a lot to it when dry. My $.02

See if you can find "Slimey Grimey" or go to West Marine and get Oxalic Acid. Same thing. Mix it up and spray it on with a garden sprayer and it will simply melt away. Then use any kind of soapy stuff to clean the residue, which is usually oil or other crap.
