Bondo , yes its a power trim and actually the cav plate is not flush with the v-hull or the bottom of the pod its roughly half way between, sorry my bad. The engine is bolted thru the pod and would be very difficult to move and not something i want to tackle right now.
Some have suggested using trim tabs to get on plane faster ,ive thought of trying that along with those dolphin fins ? I think thats what they are called . They are mounted on the cav plate ? correct me if im wrong.
Yes TCAT the engine weighs somewhere around 320 pounds ,add to that another 120+ pounds for the POD and the transom is 2" thick,thats a whopping 4 inches of thickness at the stern. Overkill is not always a good thing.
Steele, what is rocker ? The keelson should be perfectly straight ,was checked with a lazer during construction.
